We have tried restarting both the Task Scheduler service and the machine; neither resolved the issue, but restarting the machine temporarily fixed it. It is set up to be run by a svc account, but the same thing happens if I change it to my admin account and run it(tried both while logged on But if that user is logged out, the task will get the 0x80 error. My scheduled task was running with a specific system user account. The batch file which was running through scheduled task, was fetching some data from database and was generating a .csv file.
