Simple: Or all the 4 * DVD DL whas defect, or SAMSUNG PLEOMAX DVD DL 4X were incombatible with my MAC BURNER! The specification for the target device will define the list of possible KCQ values. I'm just a fellow Toast-user so please don't blame Roxio for any misguidance I may provide. The error message is: "The drive reported an error: Sense Key = HARDWARE ERROR Sense Code = 0x44, 0x86 INTERNAL TARGET FAILURE" Could anyone be able to tell what is causing Is there a place that says what revision number you need for a certain version Pioneer drive with a certain Mac OS X version?

Again, do I need to update the drive (flash it)? The encoding and multiplexing went well, the writing to disc went well until it came to writing the lead out. The system returned: (22) Invalid argument The remote host or network may be down. I have been on the phone to Apple care and tried various options. I proceeded with the burn and finished three more discs w/o any more problems.

Stopped my problems when I used Toast before going to flash drives. The workaround has been to revert to 11.0.4. Just to make sure nothing has gone wrong with the repair (if required). Your cache administrator is webmaster.

I have used all in the past, and have never had an issue until I updated to 11.1, so I feel confident it's not the media. It is, however, a prime suspect. I can't find how I know what revision of firmware I need for a Pioneer DVR-105 running under Tiger. I can probably do that next week and get a laser cleaner.
