Have you looked at /var/log/messages around the time you get the segmentation fault? I also can't find a pattern with the crashing. What kind of virtualisation method is being used? We Acted. Do a 'bt full' from the gdb command line to print the full backtrace. We Acted. About 3 weeks ago our building had a power spike that may have affected the machine.
