I don't know if this kind of reports are useful to you, but I've decided to give them anyway. I replaced eval with lua and after changing the configuration accordingly I haven't seen any segfaults again. like: ... /usr/bin/apt-get Segmentation fault (core dumped) /usr/bin/apt-get .. /usr/bin/apt-get /usr/bin/apt-get /bin/bash: xrealloc: ../../../bash/lib/sh/stringvec.c:48: cannot reallocate 276 bytes (0 bytes allocated) /usr/bin/apt-get .. /usr/bin/apt-get /usr/bin/apt-get /usr/bin/apt-get /usr/bin/which: xrealloc: ../bash/input.c:170: cannot reallocate Loaded symbols for /lib64/libnss_files.so.2 Core was generated by `nginx: worker process '.

I tried the patch from the upstream revision claiming to solve the issue #153 but it didn't help me with 3.9.2, so some debugging resulted in the patch attached. Can someone tell me when could this patch appear on an average user desktop? Thanks. After you've filed your apport crash via Ubuntu, you'll have a ticket where the Apport retracing system will massage your crash report into something human-readable. It runs for a while , usually no less than 10 minutes to a couple of hours and then crashes. useful reference Suspect > > > > that this may have to do with some sort of change in memory > remapping > > > > changes in the kernel. > > >

The script works just fine on a 64-bit machine. If other T60 documentation can be believed, press the "ThinkVantage" button, press that during boot and then "Access BIOS" or "Start setup utility". > cpu family : 6 > model : Kees Cook (kees) wrote on 2010-01-15: #28 explode.c Edit (1004 bytes, text/plain) Here is a minimal test-case for brk crashing into other segments. It seems the solution here is to fix up the brk starting position to be outside the area used for exec regions. This is a huge bug. In the debug log actually there is > no error. How to find the distance between 2 regions?
