How it works: The /system/etc/permissions/platform.xml is modified to specify that all applications which have the WRITE_EXTERNAL_STORAGE permission are registered as members of the Android UNIX group "media_rw". Just another reason why Android is overrated. Maybe I have just been lucky. Sdfix Lollipop which is why sales of Android OS tablets w/ 4.4+ have plummented.

Today i tried to install the TomTom Navigation and had also no Chance to get Access to the sd Card. It's not a problem - Kit Kat considers ALL storage to be subject to permissions, Older versions excluded the external SD card, and any app could write to any folder on Just enable it in the ‘Modules' section in Xposed and reboot. I used 2 different 64gb cards and one was a Kingston.
How can I get apps and anything else to write on my external sd card and access and save files on external sd card?
