In your capture task sequence do you only install the bare minimum needed drivers? Does this still apply? Thanks for your help and thanks for this site. Several months ago I had to completely rebuild SCCM 07 after a server crash and failed backup. http://scug.be/sccm/category/error-31/

It seems that my next problem is that the "install updates" is timing out. You can also try putting in a pause step after the network or computer settings to check and see if they're applying properly. The result for that command must be placed in the condition of the driver package. This will save you some headache if you get used to the practice of telling the OSD what drivers go to what model. Any help will be appreciated. But I had to look at Johan Aridmark'spost here to get the play by play of how to set it up in SCCM. Are there more smsts.log files?I found a post that led me to the setupact.log file that pointed to the drivers and the line "Windows could not install on or more boot-critical One is a captured log from a failed osd on a desktop, the other is the export of my task sequence.

I imported those drivers to a new driver folder, verified that they were signed and then created a Driver package and updated my distribution points.
