Try using only one connection thread when connecting to this particular server (Site Settings > Options).
In order to stop the service, you will need to stop objspawn.exe via Windows Task Manager before you can continue with corrective steps. If using a local server table for server name resolution, check to see that it doesn't resolve to an obsolete address. Try pinging the address. WSAETIMEDOUT (10060) 10060 is a connection-timeout error that usually appears when the client does not receive a response from the server for a specific command.
