we tried the tooth pick trick and the gold part is not popping back out far enough.
Used a wooden toothpick to put it back into place and it fixed the MEMORY CARD ERROR for my Fujifilm Finepix, it hadnt been workin for 6 months... The toothpick solution worked the first time I tried it on my Canon PowerShot A560. Next thing to try is the "Corrupted Card Procedures" located at the bottom of this linked article.
