I just used the plastic tooth-pick method on my Panasonic ZS10 and it now works fine. Also try reformatting the card again after doing the firmware update. Could fix 3 possibly be the best solution? Final thing that I always try before hanging up is to first check that the card connectors are clean (look for corrosion or spotting).

What should I do? i ve send it for a repair at Nikon Uk but the estimate fee was £167 which is too much for me. The toothpick trick worked!! My Canon SX10 started showing "No memory card" message after 2 years of use, & 4 months of a new 8GB card.

I didn't realize until I took the memory card to Walgreens to have some photos printed. I tried all the steps.
