Mac said both my printers were offline. Amazed. Lexmark sent a rep who spent the afternoon rebuilding the printer and then sent a new printer. This wasn't what I wanted to hear, but by then it was believable.

I contacted Epson, and they advise there is a software problem with the Apple Image Capture program. click site Not sure, but there is no Official driver from Epson for your scanner for 10.7 Lion. The machine was almost out of ink anyway, and I noticed a Canon Pixma MX882 on sale at Costco for about the same cost as a set of cartridges for the I did recently manage to track down the Tiger driver for my HP 5400c and got it working, but the idea of maybe using Image Capture was very attractive. I had not tried Image Capture, but now did. I would suggest you to uninstall the drivers completely from the computer. No difference. What a small world!
